North Dorset is easily accessible by road, linking with the A303 from London (approximately 2 hours away), the A30 from Salisbury or Yeovil, and the A36/A350 from Bath. North Dorset is served by a reliable rail network from Gillingham mainline railway station on the line between London Waterloo and Exeter St Davids. Regular bus services connect the towns in the area and National Express Coaches provide a service between London, Shaftesbury and Yeovil.
