Customer Care

Welcome to the Customer Care course – you need to pass this before moving on to the others! This module is for everyone who works in tourism. It provides you with all the basics you need to make sure visitors receive the warmest possible welcome.

Once you have successfully completed this course you will move onto learning more about the County of Dorset as a whole.  After that you can choose which area of Dorset you would like to make your special subject.  Once you have completed that you will be a Dorset Ambassador and can print out your certificate. We are also pleased to let you know that there is now a free Dorset Ambassador pin badge available for you to wear with pride. 

There are three short multiple choice quizzes, the first is about customer service principles, the second general knowledge about Dorset and the third about your chosen destination.  Make sure you read each section carefully before attempting the quiz.  So on to the first section!

Here you will learn some interesting facts about customer care – the importance of first impressions, how best to communicate with your visitors and what extra you can do that will make all the difference.
